dialogues

Prior to incorporation as a not-for-profit co-operative, associates of the CRC were involved in the Civics Research Group, which was connected to the Faculty of Environmental Studies at the University of Waterloo. During this time, we held several "civic dialogues" - facilitated group discussions on a variety of topics that were open to whoever was interested. The focus and intention of the dialogues was the discussion itself. Rather than try to achieve consensus, or arrive at conclusions or actions, the intent was to enable expression of different perspectives and provide an opportunity for people to engage.
